Jorge + Tara // Spain

I had the amazing opportunity to travel with Eliesa from Photogen Inc to film Jorge and Tara’s wedding in Santiago de Compestela this past month. Santiago is known for the pilgrimage that thousands and thousands of people from all over the world make every year to their famous cathedral. Tara made the journey to Santiago for some study abroad, and she ended up meeting and falling in love with Jorge, who has lived there his entire life. Talk about an important pilgrimage and an inspiring love story.

When taking in their day, I was really impacted by how the entire city is always on the move. Between the pilgrims making their rounds and the rest of us trying to navigate a foreign land, their day really felt like a journey in itself. I hope that tone comes through in their film.

Enjoy. -M

This video is literally one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. The couple is absolutely stunning, as is the location, church, locals, and so on. Absolutely love everything about it, it couldn’t be better!

Matt – as Father of the bride, I comment from a different perspective than most – I have never in my life been so touched as by an event. I am blessed. Not only by my daughter, who amazes me daily, but by the company she keeps which includes you – your video has taken me back to the powerful emotions surrounding that day – I have tried unsuccessfully to explain the rhythm of Santiago to others, however, my friend, you have accomplished what I could not imagine being done … my thanks to you for bringing tears to my eyes, emotion to my heart, and a feeling that we had the right professionals in Santiago to remind us how memoriablel this day was to me, my family, and most importantly to my daughter – my hat is off to you – nothing I can say adequately expresses my thanks.
