I met Jake and Heather through their wedding planner and my great friend Joan from Ambiente Group. You could not have asked for a more beautiful September day to enjoy the day's festivities.
There were many highlights from the day, but a few that jump out:
1. You can sort of hear it in my clip, but after Heather was done with hair and makeup, and her bridesmaids are "wowed" by how incredible she looks, she asks, "Can you believe this is really happening?" She was just glowing all day and it was so fun to see. I believe all wedding days, and married days for that matter, should feel surreal.
2. When we were doing a little session in the park, I asked Jake to give "me" (meaning "show me") a little kiss. I was hoping to see Jake and Heather, but instead Jake decided to give the camera and our entire viewing audience a good one. When he realized I was asking him to kiss Heather, we all had a good laugh. It made for a really great shot. Jake was a riot.

3. I loved shooting their dance because of the amazing decor and the room's natural glow. The Metropolitan, combined with the live band, made for a great end to an amazing day.
