Announcing the 2012 Capture Collective Workshop – UPDATE

undefined

The Capture Collective is a 3 Day Workshop focused on taking you to the next level in film making. This year we are limiting the Collective to 5 attendees, so each person gets one-to-one attention the entire time. We will be exploring light, sound, motion, workflow, inspiration, business, and most importantly, how to tell better stories.

The workshop fee is $1500 per attendee, which includes meals. We will be hosting the workshop at our studio in St Louis Park, MN.

EMAIL MATT for more info.

WE SOLD OUT THE FIRST SESSION (MAY 7-10TH), SO WE ADDED ANOTHER SESSION (MAY 21ST-24TH). WE HAVE 2 SEATS LEFT IF YOU ARE INTERESTED.

David + Amanda // Since the 5th Grade

Weddings are a culminating event. They celebrate a story that goes far beyond the scope of a wedding day. For David and Amanda, their story started in the 5th grade. Not many of us can attribute too much to our 5th grade relationships (for me it was still about kickball and Boyz to Men), but in their case it started the life they have together even to this day. Enjoy -M

Nick + Kaitlyn // Our Backyard Story

Justin + Rachel // The Home You Were Meant to Have

Ali + Trevor // I Promise

We had the absolute thrill of spending a couple days with Ali and Trevor during their wedding week. I will let the images and film speak, but I have to thank them for being who they are. I love how excited they were to spend their lives together – a reminder to all of us of how incredible marriage is. Their wedding also marked a great opportunity for our studio from a still+cinema perspective. We hope to do a lot more still+cinema commissions, as it really allowed our team to work seamlessly and Ali and Trevor to focus their energy on each other. Exciting stuff. Here are some images from our team and a short film from their day. -M

Amanda + Austin // She Can Pick a Winner

Amanda and Austin shared their incredible Florida beach wedding with us. At every wedding there is a “character” that really makes an impression on the story. In this case, Amanda’s grandma was perfect. It was amazing to see how proud a grandmother can be and how weddings don’t only celebrate a couple, but families as well. Enjoy. -M

Dan + Ashley // You Got Me A Puppy

Ashley got Dan a puppy for his wedding gift. Enough said. It was so much fun to be invited into their day. Enjoy – Matt

Lizzie + Greg // Life Together

Hey Friends,

I am pumped to share with you exactly three minutes and twenty-two seconds of what we here at Capture see as pure, delightful, and boundless love. This is a couple that illustrates perfectly why we do what we do. Thank you to all our amazing couples.

Hope you enjoy this highlight and check back soon for more.
-Cal & the Capture Crew

Jon + Elizabeth

For those of you attempting to escape the heat & humidity, I have a clip for you. This particular wedding was from earlier this season when the weather wasn’t so crazy. Hope you enjoy this highlight from Jon and Elizabeth’s day.

Thank You

Hello Friends,

Blog posts from 35,000 feet still feel surreal. We have been on the road a lot lately, shooting all over the country and getting to partake in some amazing weddings. We are truly blessed.

I have exciting news to share, we were once again voted “Best Videographer” in the 2011 Minnesota Bride awards. Thank you so much for your votes and support. This is a reader-based award, chosen by clients and industry colleagues. Thank you for taking the time to vote for us and so many deserving wedding pros. Our industry is an exciting place to be and we are so grateful for the opportunity to help our couples relive the the best day of their lives.

Thank you to Calvin, Tyler, Nate, Derek, Ben, Stipi and Jenna for all your hard work this past year and this wedding season. Watching Capture grow has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

Here’s to another great year. To amazing weddings, couples, new friends and new experiences.

All the best.

-Matt
